Where time or system limitations warrant, a manually written cheque, an Imprest, Trust, or Revenue Transfer account may be used.

INTERPRETATION

Imprest, Trust or Revenue Transfer Accounts

An Imprest, Trust or Revenue Transfer account may only be used if a manual cheque is necessary.

General Imprest, Trust and Revenue Transfer accounts shall have sufficient internal controls in place to ensure that only authorized payments may be made from funds advanced.

Imprest, Trust and Revenue Transfer fund advances shall be kept in a bank account authorized by the Comptroller General.
