Open another mailbox in Outlook for the web

Search Resources for Evacuated GNWT Employees

If you have access to a shared account or are delegated access to someone’s email and calendar, below are instructions on how to open that account when in Outlook for the web.

  1. Open a web browser and go to mail.gov.nt.ca
  2. Enter your GNWT username and password.
  3. Click Sign in. Your mailbox displays.
  4. Left-click the icon of the person in the top right corner. 
  5. In the pop-up menu, click Open another mailbox… 
  6. Begin typing the name of the account or email address you want to add. 
  7. Select the account you want to add.
  8. Click Open.
  9. The name of the account now displays in a new tab in your browser.
