Section: 3401 Contract Registry and Reporting System

This policy was revised to clarify the Financial Administration Manual (FAM) so it differentiates the requirements for reporting competitive opportunities and government contract activities including non-competitive contracts and Business Incentive Policy (BIP) business status. The term “public notice” was removed since it was subject to potential misinterpretation in the case of contracts through private invitation.
Responsibility of the Contract Registry and Reporting System remains with the BIP Monitoring Office, Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment; however, approval of this Policy is within the scope of powers and duties entrusted to the Comptroller General in accordance with section 12(2) of the Financial Administration Act and FAM Policy 1042, Directive 4.4.
