Section: 3101- Credit Granting and Control for Credit Applicants

This policy was revised for relevance and consistency in accordance with the CICA Handbook sections 1590 and 3840, current best practice, and also for formatting. Definitions of terminology used in the policy were added for clarity and reference including distinguishing the application for Grants and Contributions (dealt with separately in FAMs 1901 to 1906 and 2104) from the regular credit application process.

Approval of this Policy is within the scope of powers and duties entrusted to the Comptroller General in accordance with section 12(2) of the Financial Administration Act and FAM Policy 1042, Directive 4.4.
