Section: 2204 Amortization

The policy has been revised to change the 40 year maximum amortization for Bridges to variable. The change to “variable” is in response to the 75 year useful life engineering forecast for the newly constructed Deh Cho Bridge.

Approval of this Policy is within the scope of powers and duties entrusted to the Comptroller General in accordance with section 12(2) of the Financial Administration Act and FAM Policy 1042, Directive 4.4.
