Section: 1808 Government Credit Cards

Based on past application, usage and requirements of the corporate purchase credit card (Visa) and the separate corporate travel card (Mastercard/Diners Club) the Government determined that a single credit card would provide for greater cost-efficiency, effectiveness and controls. This coincides with the recent renewal of the credit card agreements. This Policy was revised to reflect the application of “one” Government Credit Card for all goods and services purchases combined with duty travel expenses through a single credit card provider.
Approval of this Policy is within the scope of powers and duties entrusted to the
Comptroller General in accordance with Section 12(2) of the Financial Administration Act and FAM Policy 1042, Directive 4.4.
