The Secure File Transfer (SFT) service provides you with a way to temporarily share and send large files of any format in and out of the GNWT with other GNWT employees and with contacts outside of the GNWT.

Note: A GNWT account, email address or GNWT mailbox is not required for the recipient to access documents that have been sent to them using SFT, nor is one needed if an external contact wants to use the service to send a file to a GNWT employee.

Employee

• Read the SFT User Guide to learn how to use the tool and its features
• Send and receive GNWT information and data only
• Retrieve files promptly and delete them once downloaded
• Delete files after your recipient has successfully downloaded them
• Adhere to all GNWT policies, procedures, standards, directives, guidelines and the requirements stated in this service description

Technology Service Centre

• License and maintain SFT infrastructure
