Section: 3102 Collection of Delinquent Accounts Receivable

The policy has been reformatted and realigned for consistency and relevance.
In addition, the following changes were made:

• Definitions have been updated to include other relevant terminology in the policy;
• An increase to the small claims action amount from $5000 to $10000 in accordance
with legislation;
• The addition of documentation requirements for transfer to Financial Reporting and
Collections; and,
• New provisions for a debt report, which may be provided by Financial Reporting and
Collections to a credit bureau.

Approval of this Policy is within the scope of powers and duties entrusted to the Comptroller
General in accordance with section 12(2) of the Financial Administration Act and Financial
Administration Manual Policy 1042, Directive 4.4.
