Section: 3102 Collection of Delinquent Accounts Receivable

The amount specified for legal action under Directives 4.3(a) and 4.3(b) has been increased
from $5,000 to $10,000 in order to be consistent with the amount in the Territorial Court Act
Small Debt Regulations.

The full Policy has been transferred to the new layout in accordance with the
Financial Administration Manual (FAM) Policy 1040 – Design, Layout and Style of FAM. Minor
formatting changes have been applied.

Approval of this Policy is within the scope of powers and duties entrusted to the
Comptroller General in accordance with Section 12(2) of the Financial Administration Act and
FAM Policy 1042, Directive 4.4.

The Government Accounting Division, Financial Management Board Secretariat, is responsible
for the language and interpretation of this Policy.
