Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training
What is the GNWT's Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training?
The GNWT's Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training (ACAT) is a series of videos used to provide GNWT employees with valuable information and context about the communities and regions of the NWT and the residents they serve.
Diversity and inclusion are crucial aspects of a strong and stable public service. This training increases understanding of Indigenous culture, enhances awareness, and promotes a spirit of inclusion. This training also reaffirms Indigenous values and partnerships as a key foundation of the GNWT, based on respect, recognition and responsibility.
