The System for Accountability & Management (SAM) is the financial system for the Government of the Northwest Territories and a part of the broader Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system built on Oracle’s PeopleSoft platform.
- To log into SAM, navigate to http://samhris.gov.nt.ca
SAM 9.2 - Upgraded on January 29th, 2018
SAM and HRIS were upgraded on January 29th, 2018. There is now one username and password for both SAM and HRIS and it is the HRIS username and password that was active as of January 28th, 2018. If you need assistance with your password, visit http://www.fin.gov.nt.ca/services/hris-human-resources-information-system-helpdesk
Also, employees are automatically given basic SAM access now when they are set up in the HRIS system. A security form is no longer required to be sent to the SAM Help Desk to have users set up with Travel and Expenses or Visa access.
